Housman Learning integrates Emotional Intelligence Skill Building seamlessly throughout the day promoting character & moral development and academic achievement.
We provide research-proven, trauma-informed Professional Learning courses for educators, leaders, and parents, and in-classroom tools for children to learn the building blocks of emotional intelligence, foundational for life-long learning and success.
Our Founder
Housman Learning was founded by Dr. Donna Housman, who has over 35 years of experience as a psychologist in the field of child development and early childhood education.
Dr. Housman is the author of a children’s book series, ECSELent Adventures with Hemmy and Shemmy, that supports young children’s emotional intelligence and mental health by addressing difficult emotions and topics in age-appropriate, safe and engaging storytelling.
