Supporting Educators’ Emotional Well-Being
Our online professional learning course “Educators’ Emotional Well-Being” helps individual educators manage personal stress and improve overall mental health & well-being.
Why It Matters
Children develop through relationships with key adults. As a role model and key socializer, you need the tools to manage your own emotions to model emotional regulation for children and support their emotional, cognitive, and social development.
The Impact
Teaching can be stressful. When educators can better regulate their own emotions, they’re more effective in supporting children’s emotional needs and teaching daily lessons.
The result: Less stressed teachers and calmer children who are ready to learn and better perform academically.
